Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Typing 24/7 handles information when you visit the website, create an account, practise typing, contact support, or buy a subscription.

1. Who operates the service

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may process your name, email address, mobile number, password verifier, security-question answer verifiers, profile picture, typing attempts and results, custom passages, support reports, subscription details, and payment-provider order and transaction references.

Passwords and security-question answers are stored as salted password hashes rather than readable text. Do not put confidential or sensitive information into a custom passage or support report.

3. Why we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, provide typing practice and progress features, remember preferences, manage subscriptions, respond to support reports, prevent abuse, maintain the service, and meet legal or accounting obligations.

4. Payments and service providers

Cashfree processes payments when Cashfree checkout is enabled. Payment card, bank, or UPI credentials are entered into Cashfree's payment flow; Typing 24/7 does not ask you to send those credentials to us. We receive payment status and transaction references needed to confirm subscriptions and maintain billing records. Our hosting provider stores and serves the website and its database.

5. Cookies and external content

A necessary, HTTP-only session cookie is used to keep you signed in. A first-party analytics cookie containing a random browser identifier is used to count daily visits and active time; it does not contain your name or contact details. If you sign in, visit and purchase metrics may be associated with your account. These analytics are used only to understand website usage and improve the service. The service does not currently use third-party advertising networks. Some administrator-added advertisement images or links may be hosted by or lead to other websites; those providers may receive technical information such as your IP address when your browser loads or visits their content. Their privacy policies apply to their services.

6. Retention

Typing attempts, progress records, and personal passages are automatically removed after one year. Closed support reports are removed after one week. Account, subscription, payment, and security records may be kept for as long as needed to operate accounts, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or meet legal and accounting requirements. Daily visit and engagement records are retained for up to 13 months.

7. Access, correction, and privacy requests

For a request to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to ask a privacy question, email typing247always@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account and describe the request. We may need to verify your account before responding. Some records may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate security, billing, or dispute purposes.

8. Security and changes

We use measures intended to protect account and practice information, including hashed passwords and restricted server-side access to payment secrets. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change; the current version and effective date will be shown here.
